Supervised instructional and free swim are scheduled daily in our three pools. Under the leadership of certified life guards and experienced teachers, swim instruction follows American Red Cross guidelines, with small-group attention. Safety is a major concern at our pools. Working closely with the Dutchess County Health Department we have addressed such issues as qualifications of the area supervisor and lifeguards, lookouts, a buddy system, supervision ratios, safety regulations, and emergency procedures. Our Swim program is unsurpassed by anything else in the local area and we are proud to watch Hillcroft swimmers grow and improve their swimming skills throughout the summer.

At our private lake, supervised activities include swimming, rope swing, fishing, and our flotilla of fun-yaks, canoes and boats. There are fish in our lake to catch, frogs and turtles to examine and a fascinating swamp to explore. All activities are supervised by certified Lifeguards and our mature and caring staff.
