My daughter was 3.5 when she came up the hill holding my hand for her first day of camp. That was 10 yrs ago. When I came to pick her up on Friday I was in tears. Where to begin? I could write a book about Hillcroft and I am sure you have heard it all before. From a business perspective you guys are a A+ over the top. You have all the right personnel, programs and safety in place. I love the switch to no paper for everything. It works great. From her perspective and mine…Hillcroft to date has been the cornerstone of her world. she loves it…I love it. She was a mess on Friday and I understand why. It’s a circle of life change for her. I just can’t express how your camp has positively effected my child for life with memories of smiles. I hope your children continue the tradition with Hillcroft to keep it running. Hillcroft is simply priceless and one really just can’t put it into words the value of your camp. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything.
Children begin dealing with social situations at very young ages. Whether in school, or on a field, it is important that children begin developing their social skills as soon as possible. When summer break rolls around and kids begin operating on different schedules than their school friends, it can be difficult to engage those skills and maintain friendships. That’s why it is important to put your child in an environment where friendship and social growth can flourish. Camp Hillcroft is exactly this kind of environment and much, much more.
At Hillcroft, we pride ourselves on creating a comfortable place where kids can be themselves and shine in everything they do. With a variety of activities from kickball to arts and crafts, it is impossible to ever feel bored. Additionally, kids are guaranteed to find someone who shares an interest in their favorite activity. Being surrounded by new friends in the bunks and on the fields creates the perfect set up for children to become engaged in forming new bonds. These bonds then have the opportunity to grow deeper with each moment spent at Camp Hillcroft. By the end of the summer, each child will walk away with amazing new friendships that last throughout the year and keep them excited to return to camp the following summer.
The lessons learned from forming new friendships at Hillcroft are priceless. Every child deserves the opportunity to create lifelong connections over the summer, and learn valuable social skills as they grow while school is out.
