Parents Section

Welcome Parents!

Here you will find all the news, bulletins and special announcements.

We believe Hillcroft will be a very special place for your child...Why?  Our staff!

It looks like about 130 staff will be returning, and others are joining us for their first Hillcroft experience.  They come from our local communities, across the U.S. and from as far away as England, Europe and Australia.  What a wonderful blend, and what a fantastic view of our “greater neighborhood”.  We are frequently reminded of a returning Austrian counselor, who came through the gate, and with tears in his eyes, bent down patted the ground and said, “It’s good to be home.”

On June 28th we will begin Camp Hillcroft’s 60th summer season.

We are glad that your family can be a part of this milestone. Welcome home!

If you have not done so already, please return your signed medical forms as soon as possible. Please, when filling out the medical form, please attach a copy of your child’s immunization record to the form.

*** A reminder; all camper medical forms must be in camp before the first day of camp.  This is a Health Department requirement.  A camper may not start program unless their completed medical is on file.***

Thank you to our families who have already returned their forms. Receiving them early guides us in forming the groups and honoring camper’s individual requests. Please have your “who you’d like to be with” requests to us by May 15, after that changes may not be possible.

WOW!  We are excited about the new look.  The bulletin board theme is designed to give you the most up to date news and information on the yellow post-its.

Look at the parent menu to the right of this page and click around for easy access to Food Menus, Forms, Schedules, and even FAQ's.  There is also a powerful calendar program that will have every event with links to more information.

Here are a few new features

Account set up

Create an account for yourself to view the photos of the day and to share your child's experiences on line.  Help your child open an account in their name, where they will enjoy communicating with their friends about the fun filled days at Hillcroft. This camper section is very secure and only Hillcroft families can share in this community.  This section is private to only registered Hillcroft families.

Photos and Videos

To view daily photos and videos you'll need to have an account.  We are linked with "smugmug" so you can purchase those great camp shots.

Calendar

The calendar program is easy to use and under each event is more information. You can view the whole month or search for specific events that will be taking place,  for example you can search "overnights and cookouts" to see when your child will participate in this special activity. (See it)

Email

We will continue to use Constant Contact as our email program.  All notices, reminders, newsletters and events will come via email. In our attempt to go green the permission slip RSVP will be in the email as well as on our website.  All you have to do is fill it out and hit submit.  For this to work it is going to be important for everyone to check their emails regularly.

Quick Contact

There's a quick contact for our families to use so you don't have fill out address etc. (See it)
