Great Day Camp in Hudson Valley
My daughter has gone to Camp Hillcroft for the past two summers, and we anticipate many more. The camp is extremely well-organized with a wide variety of activities, including a strong swimming program. She is outdoors every day and comes home tired but happy. She does see friends from school at camp, but also has many new "camp friends" that we look forward to seeing each year. I am glad that she has an opportunity to develop interests and confidence in a supportive, friendly environment in the summer.
As we enter the new year Greg and I sat down and made our very own NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS list for Camp Hillcroft. We wanted to share with you what we will achieve this summer to continue making Camp Hillcroft the best day camp in Dutchess County! How else can one improve if one doesn't set goals!!!
#10 We vow to continue to provide a safe and nurturing summer camp for all that come through our gate
#9 We vow to make sure that EVERY SINGLE camper has fun and always feels good about themselves while at Camp Hillcroft
#8 We vow to continue to educate ourselves on current camp/camper concerns and safety standards
#7 We vow to hire the best staff possible to work with your children
#6 We vow to continue to work with our returning staff..setting goals with them for improvement so every year they face a new summer with a focus for improvement
#5 We vow to maintain our wonderful camper/staff ratio
#4 We vow to continually re-assess our Program Areas....adding, changing, revamping where we see a need
#3 We vow to work diligently all year round...yes we started in August prepping for summer 2015!
#2 We vow to lead our staff and treat them with respect and welcome them to the Hillcroft community and finally..
